Booked and paid for room, drove 6 hours from the west cost to check in, only to be told when we arrived that the room was not available. We were in Christchurch to watch the rugby and everywhere was booked up so ended up sleeping in the car which was horrible. I don’t understand why there are signs outside the property and they are taking bookings for a property that doesn’t exist, it’s so gutting to be scammed like this and now I have to chase them for a refund; obviously the ‘host’ is not responding at all now.

Room and bathroom were big and there is a cinema room in the house with a projector. The house is clean, big and modern. The stay includes and good breakfast. The living and cooking area has a lot of space.
