I definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a nice private spot in beautiful nature! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, and I was able to rent a mini-fridge, sleeping bag and air mattress all for a very reasonable price. The place is located in a cute, small town in the mountains right outside Sequoia national forest. Beautiful view of the stars. I had some allergies which doesn’t usually happen for me so maybe bring some Benadryl just in case. Great place for a solo traveler or if you’ve never camped alone and want to try it!

They ask that you call them when you arrive, but there isn't cell service. I had to walk through the property and knock on the door in hopes that I was at the right place. A sign of some sort would have been helpful. The patio space wasn't as nice as they described. You had to walk through a messy garage to get to it, and it was directly outside the owners house which made it a little awkward. Our site had a broken down tarp, the ground was pretty uneven for our tent (we didn't want to be right next to the mysterious tarp pieces), and there was a shovel and bucket next to the site which we presumed was for bathroom use? Didn't plan on investigating. The porta john was directly in the sun and smelled awful. We waited until we got to the park to use the restroom. I totally understand this is camping, but if you're going to advertise something like this, at least have it presentable. It was about an hour from the parks. The nice thing was the open sky and stars at night. We did feel super exposed at our site and were a little sketched out about critters/bigger animals. Again, we are campers and if someone is advertising a campsite for almost $30 a night, we expected it to at least fit the description. We ended up packing up in hopes we would find something in the park. And we did! Camping in the park with a picnic table, fire ring and nice flat spot was only $18. I could see this being acceptable if Nader was charging maybe $10 a night.

Nader’s place was ideal for a last minute booking for us. He responded right away. For us, it wasn’t the cleanest place and the bathrooms are a walk from the site. There’s also an area with a table, grill, water, sink attached to their house through the garage. It was a bit crowded but we were grateful to be able to use their WiFi.

Campsite was nice, very remote property, a little cluttered around the portapotties with old vehicles and motorhomes and kind of difficult to find in the dark with no sign or address really visible, but overall a nice stay. Thank you again :)

Wonderful quiet and remote place, lots of scenic hills around, birds singing in the morning, streams, cool company. You install the tent, cook a steak, a couple of beers, what else you need? It was a great stay and I feel lucky I've found a place like this. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here!
