Geoff and Jenny are wonderful hosts and their place is peaceful and special. Great hospitality, breathtaking views and good company around the dinner table. They really went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one! Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay! The hosts were very welcoming, open and helpful, the room was very comfortable, and the village is beautiful. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights, which in hindsight was way too short considering the amazing surroundings.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have landed at Geoff and Jenny's farm as a solo female traveller. In spite of being in the remote beauty of Motrone and seeing far more birds than people on an average day, they make their home feel like your home and their company feel like family (a loving and attention seeking dog - Louis, included!). I stayed for 10 days without a car (Geoff picked me up and dropped me off to the train station for a modest fee), and I was content to wander the countryside by foot. I was upgraded from a room to a full cottage for no additional cost, and Geoff and Jenny kindly let me shadow them and fulfill all of my curiosity as they worked around the farm and explained their lifestyle. The only downside is that once you taste Jenny's cooking, it will be hard to eat anything that quite measures up. My first favorite dessert will forever be her fig cake, baked with fresh figs from their tree. Note to future travelers - Geoff is well versed in the Tuscan train schedule (which ones are usually cancelled and delayed, which ones are most reliable), so trust the path he suggests!
