We spent a week in the house with our two little children (4 and 7). The house is beautiful both during the day and night when it's lit by the lights from the pool. The property is really secluded, so you have all the privacy you can ask for (if you value such things). The house is self-sustained and runs on solar power, but it has enough batteries that you don't have to worry about electricity. The same is true for the water. All the reviews before mentioned the previous owner. This year, his daughter, Jagoda, took over, and I can't say a bad word about her. Jagoda was very responsive, helped us find more quiet beaches, and, in the tradition of her father, she made us the best fish we ever had :) The only problem (but that is not specific to the particular property) was the mosquitos. There were plenty of them and the repellents which you can buy in Baska Voda or DM in Makarska were not working, so bring your own, if you can.

Wir haben nun bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem traumhaften Haus eine wunderschöne und erholsame Woche mit unseren Kindern (9 und 7 Jahre) verbracht. Wir waren während der Hochsaison dort, umso mehr haben wir die ruhige Lage, den tollen Pool und die grandiose Aussicht geschätzt, genauso wie die Möglichkeit zu Fuß zur Konoba Panorama laufen zu können, wo man sehr gut essen kann. Mit dem Auto lassen sich in wenigen Minuten tolle Buchten erreichen. Das Haus hat alles was man im Urlaub braucht und ist noch schöner als beschrieben. Jagoda (Tochter vom ehemaligen Gastgeber Ivica) und ihr Mann sind sehr, sehr herzliche und großzügige Gastgeber und kümmern sich vorbildlich um das Haus und ihre Gäste! Ganz ganz tolle Menschen! Sie haben uns sogar einmal zum Essen eingeladen und für uns frischen Fisch gegrillt, der hervorragend geschmeckt hat! Wir haben uns bei ihnen sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What a fantastic week it was! Everything was smooth, from communication before our arrival, through meeting us in the village and guiding us to the property. This little house is really away from everything else, if you are after peace and quiet this is it. At the same time beach is only 10min away by car, Baska Voda is so beautiful, great views, nice cafes, bakery, walks etc. Karla has everything you need on holiday, remote location, but still close enough to local amenities and not far away from other great places of Makarska Riviera (only 30min to Omis and 16min to Makarska). The house itself is well equipped, 2 stories, 1 bathroom, kitchen, swimming pool, outdoor bbq area. Garden and pool gets plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. The only disadvantage for us was no internal staircase, we ended up sleeping in the same bedroom with our 5 year old as you have to go outside to get to the other room. This would not stop us from booking again, sitting there by the pool was perfect in the afternoon. Ivica, the owner, was very nice, he even came in one evening and cooked bbq dinner for us, it was truly amazing. Can definitely recommend Karla for family holiday.

Bardzo miły gospodarz, piękna spokojna okolica, czysty i zadbany domek, w pełni wyposażony. Właściciel bardzo pomocny, w nocy wyłączył nam się prąd, a on przyjechał w 5 minut i naprawił, codziennie rano przynosił nam jajka od swoich kur, zrobił przepyszną rybkę na kolację i poczęstował winem, a także odebrał i zawiózł nas na przystanek autobusowy. Gorąco polecam.

Wir haben Mitte August mit unseren zwei Kinder (6 und 8 Jahre) eine Woche bei Ivica in seinem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Das Haus und die Aussicht sind noch schöner als auf den Fotos! Es ist an ALLES gedacht und sehr gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet und ausgestattet! Auch der Pool ist größer als wir gedacht haben und herrlich zum Baden. Und Fußläufig ist eine sehr gute Taverne zu erreichen. Ivica ist einer der besten und herzlichsten Gastgeber die wir je hatte. Er ist uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Gleich am ersten Tag hat er uns in seinem Auto durch Baska Voda gefahren und uns gezeigt wo wir günstig parken, am besten Einkaufen, etc. können und uns auch wunderschöne und Verhältnismäßig relativ einsame Badebuchten gezeigt. Und an einem Abend hat er uns zum Essen eingeladen und für uns selbst gefischten Fisch gegrillt - sooo lecker! Wir haben die Zeit bei Ivica im Haus SEHR genossen und wie zuhause gefühlt!!! Vielen Dank Ivica für alles.
