We absolutely loved our stay at Shuma house. As soon as we left the property my girls lamented on how much they were going to miss it. We particularly enjoyed the salt water pool and the walking distance beach. All the rooms have fans and the place is so private and peaceful. The staff also do laundry for free which is a plus particularly when traveling with kids. The staff go above and beyond to make delicious meals and they’re always available to respond to any specific requests. Mikush the owner was extremely friendly and helpful whenever you have questions about the area. This is indeed one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed in!

Shuma house exceeded our expectations. Great for large bookings! It was like a private resort for a group of 11. The owner Mikush was around and it was nice of him to drop in and say hallo. Staff were friendly, professional and by the end of the stay felt like family. As other reviews have mentioned, the pre booking instructions were exceptional! All the info needed to assist with the stay was availed before arrival. Beach is 5 mins away but please note it can be treacherous for some. There is an alternate route though. Will love to return again and again! Watamu is a gem indeed, Shuma just makes it feel like home.

Lovely space, great for us getting together as a big family. Lots of separate spaces for kids/adults to spend time in. Pool was great fun, beach close walk away too. Chef's were amazing, David makes a great coconut curry!

Unfortunately we only stayed five nights at this wonderful place, but we would always come back. We can highly recommend this accommodation for a stay in Watamu, the house is beautiful and everything is in short distance. The people working there are very friendly and helpful with everything you need or information about where to go and what to do. It was an overall perfect experience! Thank you very much!
