Glenluce · 整套客用套房 · 1室3床1.0卫 · 可住3人 · Dairy Cottage, cosy cottage with woodburner.
Dairy cottage is a bright, self contained, recently renovated, pet friendly, one bedroom cottage with a private courtyard located outside Glenluce in picturesque Wigtownshire. A short walk from the beach, river and forest with beautiful views and trails so great for escaping and relaxing. If interested in more strenuous activity mountain bikers will find many of the famous "7 stanes" trail centers within easy reach as is the breathtaking Galloway forest offering plentiful outdoor adventures. Dairy Cottage is a self contained unit with a wood burner so very cosy and should have everything you need for comfortable stay including all bedding, towels, kitchen essentials, washing machine and just in case; an area for wet drying and bike storage. The courtyard has furniture and a brazier and is enclosed and secure, also a little suntrap when the weather permits. There are also lots of other sitting, picnic and relaxation areas around the cottage as well as a children's play area. We are easy to get to just off of the A75 with easy access to Stranraer and Newton Stewart. Approximately 15 minutes from ferry service to Ireland at Cairnryan so perfect for restful night if you have an early ferry. The Cottage, although completely separated, is part of the larger farmhouse which our family lives in. We do have small children and remain respectful of our guests but you may be able to hear the odd sound from their growing personalities. This has never been an issue but please keep this in mind when booking our place.
Tracey's place was perfect for us and our three little dogs. We had no worries letting them out into the secure courtyard at the back. So many rental properties that say dog friendly but do not have the same facilities.
Lovely break for 3 nights at Daisy Cottage. Tracey is a great host, very accommodating and a quick communicator. The cottage is warm, clean and cosy. A wood burning stove is a nice touch. Thanks we hope to be back soon
We stayed for 3 nights and the stay was very good. Location is easy to find, clear instructions and easy access. We had found the WIFI to be on the slow side, but this was expected giving the rural location, there is also lots of DVD’s and games to make up for this. We took our dog and the house was very pet friendly. We found that the quick walk to the beach very easy but our dog does not like cows, which are scattered along the walk So we only went to the beach near the cottage once. We followed a few recommendations on the book which is provided. Including walking to the luce Abbey and few local beaches. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again
We stayed for a weekend but wish we could have stayed for longer!! This was a really cosy retreat where we could relax and kick back with our dog. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bathroom has a bath as well as a shower which I love! There was a lovely area at the back where we sat out and had a drink and our pooch could just nose around as it was secure. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. There were beautiful walks nearby and overall we just had a fantastic time!! Thank you
