You will have access to your own private studio. It is relatively quiet in our neighborhood. You will hear nothing but birds singing the morning away. We do have chickens and 1 rooster. We live on a very quiet road and our studio offers a peaceful retreat if what you're wanting is to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We have wooded acres in the back, and you might catch a glimpse of wild hogs, deer, foxes, our community dog Roxy, and many more wildlife. The nights are just as spectacular with an instrumental orchestra of the night wild life with stars that light up the sky. We also offer free wi-fi, but usually Verizon is the only network that picks up our network. Previous guests with other networks have had issues in picking up wi-fi. We are about 5 minutes away from Van, TX that offers delicious TEX MEX food and 15 minutes away from Downtown Lindale. Mineola, TX is about 20 minutes away and has wonderful antique shops and of course the big city of Tyler, TX is about 30 min away in the other direction. Canton, TX is about 25 minutes from our home and is home of the popular 1st Monday Trade Days, acres and acres of the largest flea market/antique shops. It is open year round. I cannot go without mentioning our famous lakes. We are about 40 minutes away from world famous Lake Fork. Troy Aikman has been known to fish at Lake Fork. There is also Tyler State park located about 30 minutes and offers wonderful trails, kayaks, canoes, and swimming. we have Lake Holbrook that is 20 min from us. It has a big lake with a nice beach area and is very clean area. Our space offers you a place to escape and connect with nature. We have chickens and goats. If by the time you come to visit us and they are producing eggs and milk, you are more than welcome to it. We also have tomatoes, bell peppers, and jalapenos that you may also help yourself to for that delicious omelette in the morning when in season.
