Hautes Pyrénées is part of the relatively undiscovered, tranquil SW of France also known as Gascony. The village of Vidou is located just 3.5 km from the 13th c bastide market town, Trie sur Baïse, There is a market every Tuesday and Sunday. There is a Fete in August, with a range of entertainment. The town offers the normal amenities, including bars, cafes and restaurants. The surrounding countryside offers spectacular beautiful scenery, fishing, walking, cycling, skiing and horse riding. This country house features a private pool, jacuzzi, BBQ, hammock, a garden with an outdoor eating area, table tennis, free WiFi and free private secure parking. The Gite offers a fridge freezer, dishwasher, cooker, washing machine, microwave and all of the normal facilites in a kitchen. The lounge has a television with English and French TV channels with a log burner. There are en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom with an electric fan. While downstairs, there are shower room facilities. Speaking English and French, Julie and Andy are readily available if required. Just come and enjoy a fantastic time, in a beautiful area of France with a great ambience in a relaxed environment! We offer, at your request, breakfast, a BBQ or a 3 course evening dinner at an additional cost, but require 48 hours notice. There is an additional charge for bed linen and towels, but you can bring your own and jaccuzzi shown in other details to note. Please be aware that a security deposit is required, upon arrival of 250 euros, which is returned to you on departure, when the gite is returned to us to the same standard.
