Set in peaceful surrounds with a majestic backdrop of mountains , river and beautiful birdlife. Close to bellingen and Dorrigo, the rainforest walks were spectacular.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! The cabin was spacious, airy and well decorated. The location was amazing and the nature was beautiful. Sharon and her husband Bill were really helpful and kind. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Spacious cottage with great views to forest and river Good verandah Nice getaway feel to it There were a couple of maintenance issues with wifi, hot water and lights that could easily improve overall experience

After making the booking of River Cottage we had no idea how idyllic the river was until we arrived. We were greeted by Bill and Sharon on arrival. The locations was easy to find. The River Cottage backs directly to the undisturbed views of the river and the sound of running water. It was so beautiful. The cottage was nicely built with hardwood floors, timber beams that lead to high ceilings. Kitchen was handy to cook our own meals and river views from the comfort of our bed were heavenly. We spent many days in the crystal clear river. Bill showed us some of the local bird life and we spotted a Tawny Frog Mouth Owl on the first night. He took us on a kayaking adventure up river where we saw many of the local wildlife. Our hosts provided fresh tumeric, ginger, basil and tomatoes from the garden which were delicious. They suggested local spots to check out. It was a pleasure to stay and feel so welcome. Thank you Bill and Sharon for hosting us, we cant wait to come back. Regards
