The house is as on the pictures, canoes available as well (we used few times even though we had very windy days), bikes for rental delivered on the door at affordable prices. Nice playground in the backyard for the kids. Unfortunately we had an issue with our car rental and had no car and there is no market in walking distance around so planning was needed but a bus stop is nearby that was going to Leiden (every30min and every hour on weekends) . We recommend thought to get here by car. Anne Carine was very nice and friendly and totally reactive on all requests we had. We recommend this for a journey in the calm surrounded by the great nature of Holland.

Anne Carine is a lovely host - responsive, thoughtful, caring (she made us a early morning taxi reservation and called several places for us as it was early on Easter Sunday and it was also daylight savings day), curious & open to new ideas (she asked what else she could do to make our stay even better), and overall a lovely person. And her home was so peaceful and had everything we needed for a multi-day stay. She even had bikes delivered so we could get around!

Anne Carine's home is beautiful and she was just as lovely in person. We enjoyed sitting at the table in the morning eating breakfast with such a peaceful view. Everyone slept comfortably and my children enjoyed the toys provided. My only regret was that we did not book for longer. It was great all on it's own but also well situated for our day trips in the area. We appreciated the easy location to return to each night and start off our day. Do not hesitate to book this property. I am grateful to Anne Carine for sharing her home with our family.
