I had a fantastic stay at Valentino’s property. Gorgeous villa and views. Very clean. Pool was a great bonus. Valentino was very accommodating and happy to help whenever needed. She was happy to recommend and book restaurants in the area which was lovely! Overall a brilliant experience staying at this villa!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in La Grotta met onze 2 kinderen (6 en 8). Schoon en groot huis. Meerdere (lig)banken, grote tv en lekkere bedden en douche. Door de horren voor de ramen geen muggen in de slaapkamers gehad. Zelfs paar wasjes kunnen draaien! Stefania is een fantastische host. Wat wij het fijnste vonden waren de pasta(saus) op de eerste avond en haar tips over restaurants. En doordat zij ze voor ons reserveerde, hoefden we ons zelf nergens druk over te maken. Het huis ligt op een groot terrein met schoon en ruim zwembad. Vooral woonkamer is lekker koel. Je hebt wel echt een auto nodig. Veel privacy en toch genoeg contact met de host. We zouden het huis zeker aanbevelen!

We really enjoyed our time at Stephani and Valentino’s place. They were so hospitable, helping us find supplies, routes and organising a fabulous visit to a Modena balsamic vinegar processor for lunch and tasting and booked a local restaurant for us one night. We really appreciated the juice, milk, pasta, delicious tomato sauce and Parmesan and breakfast items supplied to get us started. This is a very beautiful place, we were surrounded by nature and amazing views. The pool was much enjoyed in the summer heat and the apartment was comfortable with everything needed for a happy stay. As hosts Stephani and Valentino go to a lot of trouble to make you feel at home. We very much recommend their accomodation.

This place is wonderful. If you are looking for quiet, this is it. All you can hear are cicadas. The twisty roads that surround the apartment are stunning. The apartment is very spacious, it has everything you need, including a welcome Mediterranean survival dinner kit that is waiting for you on your arrival. Use of the pool was very refreshing after a hot day. Valentino and Stefania are wonderful hosts, very helpful. They suggested a local restaurant, booked a table for us and it was well worth it.
