What an amazing cabin! This place is as ideal as a cabin could be, and the host is incredibly kind, sweet, and caring. Words can’t express how exceeded our expectations were! Generous local gifts were left for our sampling, and we were truly made to feel that our host was excited to have us there. I’ve never had an experience like we were provided here, even in the fanciest of hotels. Thank you, we hope to make it back!

A beautiful cabin in the woods. If you enjoy a quiet night by the fire enjoying a glass of wine and visiting with your partner this is the place for you. There was no Wi-Fi or cell service so plan on leaving your technology at home. Once we got comfortable with that we found it refreshing and relaxing. The king size bed is also very comfortable.

I've had Tanya's place on my wishlist for a while and finally got the chance to stay. It's popular for a reason! The house is fully stocked with everything you need, from a well-equipped kitchen to a comfy bed and linens. The location is also perfect for cyclists, being convenient to trails and town but also quiet and peaceful. Tanya is super friendly and responsive. She provided recommendations for trails and live music in the area, both of which I'm glad I followed. This place is a true NEK gem and I can't wait to return!

This is our second time coming to Russell's Cabin. We returned because the location is fantastic, the cabin is clean and cozy and Tanya is a fantastic host. We were welcomed with thoughtful touches--fresh farm eggs, maple syrup. Yum! And this time we came prepared with several DVDs for movie watching in the evenings. Overall, a fantastic long weekend!
