Great place to stay. Issues had were simple as batteries in the smoke alarms and they were fixed by the next day. Bring your own cookware though as what is there isn’t the best quality and did not cook food right. There are also no seasonings except salt and pepper, so be aware of that as well. Beds comfy, but if you need a more firm pillow, then I would suggest you to bring your own from home. Hosts (Rhonda) were responsive and also quick to reply when needed, had plenty of space to relax and a great outdoor area.

We had a very nice time here! I can’t quite give the experience five stars though. Check in was pretty complicated. We were instructed to call the owners, but when I did the number listed said it had been disconnected. I messaged through Airbnb and was given another number that I then called. Jackie answered and helped us with check in, but I felt it was a little strange to be instructed that we would have to provide IDs to the owner and we couldn’t get in touch with them at all. The house is very nice. As stated in other reviews, a lot of work is needed inside. Couches are peeling, doors are wonky, faucets falling off, light bulbs need to be replaced, and just things of that nature. For the money, I feel these things should be fixed. The location is beautiful and there are a lot of hidden gems in the area. Again, overall a beautiful thanksgiving was spent here with family. I don’t know if I would pay this amount for another stay here though.

Nice place with good views. We followed check in instructions to call Harold and we never heard back, we arrived and had ni instruction on how to access the property. We called Harold that morning and then again later. We had to go through the provided contact list and found Jackie's number. She was very helpful and told us where the hidden key was. We felt this process could have been smoother, it's a little disconcerting to arrive at a place under those circumstances. Also, if you are bringing a boat the communication from the marina is not great. We showed up to a closed marina so we also had to work that out. The marina is not associated with Evolve but they do use it in their advertising. Evolve ( I think it's a holding company or something) was not the best in answering initial questions either. The house is nice and they did clean but don't expect a top notch place. It is well worn and not well stocked so bring some of your own kitchen stuff, coffee and condiments.
