This is a beautiful home. The hosts took great care converting an old farm house into this lovely hotel and it shows. The house is very cozy and lovely touches around every corner. The hosts were lovely people who greeted us for check and and checkout, were quick to respond to any questions, and brought us nice personalized extras like toys and fresh juice for the kids. the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. a row for cherry blossoms were nearby and an excellent spot to see the stars at night. I highly recommend this spot to anyone. we loved our time here

We can summarize our experience at Nagare as amazing and one that exceeding our expectations. The place itself is beautiful, elegantly decorated, roomy and comfortable. Its Japanese style was everything we imagined Japan to be. The location offered several walking options (my wife and I had the pleasure of walking down an empty trail lined with cherry blossoms in full bloom). There’s a 7-11 5 minutes away and a train station about 20 min walking distance. Furthermore, the entire area and Kiso Valley, are just spectacularly beautiful. Even more amazing than the house was the warm, generous and kind hospitality of the host. We were unable to collect our rental car. The host freed his entire day to drive us around and tour with us, and introduce us to several local artisans. We feel extremely fortunate to have been able to book and stay in this incredible house. It was the highlight of our trip to Japan. We can honestly say that we will make every effort to return to this house.

This could be the most beautiful house I've ever been in! We stayed there all day and didn't leave, it was so nice. We rented a car and drove from the middle of Tokyo, which wasn't as scarey as we expected, and did a road trip around the area to Matsumoto and then this house. The hosts are so lovely and I recommend adding on the meal options as they were beautiful and special experiences, even just the simple green vegetables grown locally were the best I've ever tasted. The view of the mountains was beautiful and peaceful - luckily we had a clear sky day. I hope we can return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Nagare. This beautifully renovated farm house has incredible attention to detail providing five star comfort. Our every need was carefully thought of and attuned to. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and super helpful. The view of the snow covered mountains calms the mind and brings joy. We highly recommend coming and spending some time here, it’s so nice.
