Staying at Putu and Komang’s house was so lovely and relaxing. You get a private space with beautiful sunrises. Komang can take you out for yours and Putu can make you lovely breakfast. They are both really helpful and lovely people. Would recommend renting a scooter of them if you can so you can explore the local area. It is not very ‘touristy’ but it is FAR better than any of the more popular tourist destinations. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and a lovely place to spend time.

Komang and his wife are excellent hosts. The cabin is just a short stroll from their home, but it feels like you are in the middle of the forest. It’s very private. The pool is an amazing bonus and cleans itself twice a day, so it’s always ready when you want to cool down. There are also some beautiful rice terraces just a few minutes walk away with stunning views of the volcanoes behind them. This is a remote area, so great if you want to escape the more touristy parts of Bali and experience a more traditional way of life. There’s a small shop in the village to pick up some basic essentials, and if you need anything more, Komang is always available to take you to the nearest large town, Penebel. Food is available at a good price and delivered direct to the cabin. It’s traditional Indonesian food and always very tasty and well presented. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it. Thanks for a great stay Komang!

Very recommended for anyone wanting a visit to true and honest Bali. Spartan but lovely surroundings in a remote area of Bali. Komang was the perfect host and went out of his way to help us. Recommended for those wanting a quiet stay.
