siobhan was a brilliant host from start to finish- so responsive at all times. she was very friendly, laid back and clear with instructions on how to maneuver the boat. the boat itself was exactly like the listing and very clean/ comfortable. would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning again.

We loved our 3 night trip on the Maud Gonne! It’s such a pretty barge inside and out. Super cosy inside and the stove was toasty. Slept 3 of us plus 🐶🐶🐶 very comfortably. Once we got the hang of driving with Siobhan’s helpful instructions we were flying. Stopped in Fisherman’s - a must. Take Siobhan’s advice re food and what to bring etc. We will definitely be back! Had a great time on the barge, was definitely an experience me and everyone else thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend to everyone, Siobhan was extremely responsive and a caring host. Pub in fisherstown is lovely , the views on the journey are great ( we were blessed with weather on our trip) and driving at times was really fun. Worth the money 1000%. Only thing I would say is , is that if one of you is not a competent/confident driver I wouldn’t recommend booking. My girlfriend and sister weren’t happy to attempt sailing under bridges or past other boats.

We went from thinking the boat life wasn't wasn't for us (a few things went wrong at the beginning which Siobhan and Niall were absolutely amazing at responding and sorting) to literally living our best life! Siobhan and Niall are wonderful hosts; so responsive and conscientious - really couldn't ask for more! The boat is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable time. We were lucky to have a couple of clear days/nights and my husband and I were blown away by the view of the nights sky. Our 3 year old son hasn't stopped taking about our holiday on the boat and it's such a lovely thought that it may well be one of his first memories 🥰

What can we say! Such an adventure as a family. Had the best time. And the kids loved it. Siobhan was always so so helpful. Couldn’t fault her communication and she responded so fast every time. She was extremely helpful. Lots of tips and advice to prepare us for the few days. Niall met us at the boat and talked us through ‘the ropes’ as we were complete beginners. The boat was so cosy and warm. Well equipped with everything we needed. The rain didn’t halt our plans and the boat felt like our home. The maps were invaluable and helped us plan our route with guidance from Niall. We wished we could have stayed longer! Couldn’t recommend enough. Such a calm and peaceful few days away.
