Good afternoon! Most recently, my family and I were vacationing at Donna's cottage! Donna is a very helpful and pleasant hostess, my husband had a birthday, and Donna baked her famous lemon pie for us, and even helped with a candle for the cake! I can say that this is a place for the soul ... insanely beautiful well-groomed territory! There was even a log burning fire place which made the cottage feel extra cozy. It was nice to watch with my children the animals that are also on the territory, we had a barbecue in the evenings, and one of the amazing moments was to take a hot outdoor Jacuzzi whilst looking at the beautiful scenery ... there is a swimming pool on the territory, but unfortunately the weather did not allow us to use it, but if the weather was a bit warmer we would have all been in there. With great hope that we will be able to return to this magical place once again! Once again a big thank you to Donna for being a great hostess we hope to stay again soon!

The most beautiful location and cottage. Our trip was the perfect birthday getaway surrounded by stunning landscape, animals and facilities. Our host was helpful and kindly left a beautiful cake for our stay.

This is a very special place - we had exclusive use of pool and hot tub whilst there which meant the children had a great time. Donna was super helpful and responsive. The kitchen was really well equipped and we enjoyed running on footpaths directly off the estate. Obviously maintaining a beautiful house and garden takes a lot of work, so people were coming and going whilst we were there around the property. Whilst it didn’t detract from our stay, some might find it less private/ secluded than expected.

An absolutely stunning location and such a wonderful host. Donna we can’t thank you enough. Everything was as described with fantastic local recommendations. Cottage was lovely with everything we needed and the grounds and extra amenities were the icing on the cake. A fabulous few days!

Three generations of our family had a very enjoyable 5-day post-Easter break at Rivenhall Cottage. On arrival, Donna gave us a guided tour of the grounds and explained how to use the facilities such as the pool and hot tub. Donna is a responsive host and replied quickly to our questions during our stay. We loved having the huge expanse of landscaped grounds, lakes (with rowing boat), beautiful woodland, garden areas and the tennis court to ourselves. The wildlife, including alpacas and sheep in the neighbouring fields, were a big hit with all of us. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and, given the weather, we made full use of the log burning stove.
