We loved the adobe style bungalow at Villacana. There was a lovely little front garden area with a table and chairs and the back garden, small but just right for a holiday long or short. There is no shortage of bouganvillea, geraniums, hibiscus and morning glory in your back garden and the hedge is high enough to offer a level of of privacy but, unfortunately, you do get neighbour noise as the bungalows are situated very close together and the way they are built, you have neighbours above you. However, we were lucky that surrounding bungalows were often empty so we had many peaceful days during our 32 day stay. We often saw and heard birds in the garden and there is a lovely palm tree which offers a bit of garden shade. There is room for a couple of sun loungers on the grassy area as well as on the patio. The patio area with table and chairs is under cover so we ate all our meals there. The bungalow is in need of modernisation but it does have a certain charm and we found a way to overlook that it is an older property. We found its size to be perfect for two adults, sliding doors from the bedroom onto the grassy area and sliding doors from the kitchen to the patio/garden make it easy to get in and out of the property. Our only issue is the sofa bed in the livingroom, it really is just for sleeping on and not comfortable to be used for sitting in or watching tv so that didn't work for us. The Villacana urbanisation is very well looked after, gardeners are constantly maintaining the villas and the grounds and you never see any type of rubbish or litter on the walkways so five stars for these gardening guys who do a brilliant job. There are four swimming pools, always spotless, and a short walk to the beach which can be a bit pebbly and doesn't get all smoothed out like some of the blue flag beaches on the Costas, so we found it not the best beach for power walking. At the time of writing, a new chiringuito was being built on the property (June 2022) in addition to 90 Miles and Enriques restaurants which are on the property. Enriques was our favourite and offers lovely views over the biggest pool and out to the beach and sea. There is another restaurant right next to the property Gregories which we didn't have a chance to visit and the on-site shop has been taken over by new owners and is now open, great for fresh bread and pastries, drinks and lots of essentials. Five minute walk to the bus stop where there are two buses the L-79 starting at Estepona and going to Marbella or the smaller L-2 going a circular route from Estepona to Isdabe. Cheap travel just not always a reliable timetable. You can cross the bridge to get to the bus stop heading in other directions or if you can't cross the bridge (its not for everyone) if you head along left outside of Villacana you will come to a slip road that takes you under the A7, we did that several times, its a good 35 minute walk up and out to the other bus stop and a few minutes more up the hill to the village of Cancelada with a lots of little restaurants to enjoy. On a Friday morning there is a fruit and vegetable market on the other side of the A7 from Villacana and as we didn't have transport while we were there, we would take the L-2 bus to Aldi at Salladillos, do our shop and there is a taxi rank close to Aldi's for the return trip. Alternatively, you can walk over the bridge at Cancelada and Lidl and Mercadonna are on that side of the dual carriageway approximately 20 minute walk from Villacana. Overall we had a good stay at Villacana.

Esta casa no es un Airbnb. La empresa que lleva el alquiler es correcta y no tengo nada que decir al respecto. En cambio, la casa es una chapuza, bricolaje de baja calidad, montajes eléctricos dudosos, puerta de entrada que cierra mal, mampara de la ducha rota, el extractor no funciona. Simplemente vergonzoso. Urbanización en la que los gatos no paran de entrar en la vivienda a la mínima que dejas la ventana abierta. El dueño ahorra al máximo para nisiquiera poner unas cortinas limpias y del mismo tamaño (manchadas). No recomiendo para nada. No tendrían que haber viviendas asi en Airbnb, es lamentable

купился на красивые фотографии и невысокую цену. в реальности, очень старая и обшарпанная квартира. кондиционер лучше не включать, а то будет исходить очень неприятный запах.
