The chalet was lovely, clean and warm and with everything you could need, including blankets for when the wind is howling. 😃

Absolutely ideal if you wish to visit all the islands. You can even leave a car on mainland and walk from the ferry, should ferry charges be a problem. The chalet itself is 100%, all amenities work and the beds are comfortable and warm. Wi-fi is good and reliable (outside of Shetland's power cuts). There are plenty of things for families although I have never really investigated them. A few more books in case of bad weather would be nice, I left a couple of paperbacks, perhaps others might do the same. However, probably not necessary most of the "season", I travel in October. Views are superb from the large lounge windows, two very comfortable recliners and a sofa are great for relaxation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chalet was cosy and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom spotless. The location was great for exploring Yell and Unst and very easy to find right by the ferry terminal.
