We had a great stay at Gianluca’s place. Excellent location, clean, quiet, and the private terrace had incredible views. Gianluca was an excellent host. He communicated clearly. was extremely accommodating and thought of every possible detail to make our stay comfortable. He even drove us to the train station when it was difficult getting a cab. I’d recommend Gianluca’s place to anyone staying in Como and would love to stay here again myself.

The location is nice, but the room is small and the bathroom has bad smell. The hot top is not part of the apartment but you need to get out of your apartment and go one more floor for it.

Gianlucas place is amazing. Check in was a breeze, we were given great instructions and local recommendations on arrival (and a bottle of Prosecco to enjoy on the roof!). The location is of off the busy part of Como, 20 minute walk from the ferry station, about 30 minutes to the funicular. There is a bus station right outside the door that connects you to the train station (10 min, 2.50 euro) or anywhere in downtown. This made for easy transport wherever we wanted to go. The best way to get around however is to take the walking path around the lake which can also be accessed a few minutes away. Finally, the view. Pictures simply do not do it justice. The rooftop has stunning views of the entire lower basin of lake como. This is truly the gem of the entire place. The hot tub is a great bonus as well. Overall one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had for a great price. Thank you Gianluca for the wonderful hospitality.

Logement au top ! Agréable pour se relaxer un week-end avec le coin spa sur la terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle. Gianluca est un hôte parfait toujours à l’écoute. Merci pour ce week-end, à bientôt je l’espère.
