Dyffryn Ardudwy · 整套出租单元 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Peaceful Retreat in Southern Snowdonia Self-contnd
Friendly village setting with level walk to the beach in stunning Snowdonia, this one-bedroomed self contained apartment has off road parking, private entrance & is a 2 minute walk from the main Cambrian line railway stop. Bus connections 5 mins. Idyllic spot with own private patio with dark skies for stargazing & views towards the sea. Dog friendly (max 2 dogs). All on 1 level with features to aid those with reduced mobility. NB: Step down from driveway then up 1 step to main entrance. Everyone tells me the photos don't do it justice! Apparently it is much larger than the pics make it look. With patio doors opening to a spacious private enclosed patio (fenced all round to contain dogs & very sheltered) and a private entrance it's ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful break away from it all. Inside is light and modern with all 4 rooms on 1 level. The bathroom has a double-sized walk-in shower with rails & seat for anyone not so hot on their pins. There's also a bathtub as well as loo and basin. The bedroom is huge. The bed has a comfortable double bed and dressing area with wardrobe full of hangers. Extra bedding is available in case you need it although you have control of the heating thermostat. There's an electric real flame effect stove in the lounge for cosiness in cooler weather and to top up the heating should you need it. The dining table can seat up to 4 and the kitchen is fully equipped should you feel like cooking! We try to provide all those extras such as kitchen towel, foil and so on. If you have specific requirements and you're not sure whether it's supplied just ask! We recently upgraded the TV to Freesat so we no longer have issues caused by poor signal strength. There is a Spar and a great newsagent/ Post Office in the village, less than 10 mins walk up the lane. PS: It's the Welsh Sausage Champion!
Linda was a lovely host, great location, apartment was spotless and clean, the pooches loved their stay as well. Great location. Would definitely recommend. Hope to be back next year. thank you
Everything was great. Great dog friendly place. Everything we needed was supplied. Great information. Lovely extra touches, ie milk supplied, delicious Welsh cakes. Spotlessly clean. We would love to stay there again.
We had a lovely time at the Annexe, great location within walking distance of beautiful quiet beaches but also close to public transport to easily get to Barmouth or Harlech. Linda's place was spotless and comfortable, everything we needed for a short trip with our dog. Linda was so helpful and friendly, and the guidebook was full of local suggestions. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.
Well situated away from noise but accessible for village and beach. Beautiful part of Wales with lots to explore
"Where the mountains meet the sea" describes this stunning corner of Snowdonia.
A paradise for walkers wishing to explore the national park on our doorstep, stunning sandy beaches stretch for miles (and yes, there is a nudist beach allocated less than a mile from here) but did you know there is an airfield offering pleasure flights in the neighbouring village of Llanbedr?
The countryside here is simply breathtaking: panoramic vistas on Moelfre, the pudding-basin hill overlooking Dyffryn Ardudwy and natural woodlands heaving with mosses, oaks and glacial boulders. Backing the village, the Rhinogs hill range offers miles of unspoilt landscape accessible to walkers. Within the village a significant proportion of buildings are built from huge blocks of local stone and Welsh slate. In the immediate area are ancient burial chambers, churches dating back many centuries, a brand spanking new art gallery as well as 2 cafes, 2 pubs, 2 convenience stores, a fuel station & 2 garages; even 2 forms of public transport: buses and trains! We are, guess what? A 2 minute walk from the railway station!
With so much going on you wouldn't believe how quiet it is in our peaceful annexe.
Our postcode is LL44 2EU. The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is accessible by road on the A496.
Bus route G23 takes you north through neighbouring villages to Porthmadog.
The main line train has a request stop 2 min walk from the house. Arriva trains run from Birmingham Central station via Machynlleth & Barmouth through Dyffryn Ardudwy & north through Minffordd for Portmeirion Italianate village, Porthmadog and Criccieth to terminate at Pwllheli.
