House is beautiful & she discounted the rate for us, appreciated that! Great location, backs up to the beautiful sound & you can see the beach from the front, it is across the street. I was surprised there weren’t some basics in the kitchen, like olive oil. Also no soap/shampoo. (There was about 1/4 of a used bar of soap). I asked if we could get in before check in & she said the cleaning people would be there Friday & Saturday. We got there at 3:30, but had to wait until 4:00 for them to finish. Not a big deal, just communication could have been better. There were ants all over the counters & got in bread & cookies we brought. We contacted her & she said there was ant killer in the house we could use. The hot tub had strange flakes floating in it when we took off the cover. Finally when I started a bath, the water that came out was grey, like something black was coming from the faucet. I ran it for a long time & it finally was clearer, but the water was still greyish.

We booked this house because another house we were in was not up to standards. Barbara was extremely understanding of our situation and went above/beyond to help my family and I get into the house within 1 hour of booking. The house is beautiful. so much to do, kayaks, pool table, games, ping pong, fitness room, jacuzzi and lots of entertainment areas. Barbara is the most organized host I've ever encountered. she has directions in the home with contacts for every situation. The kitchen is very well labeled and has all of the necessary appliances to cook your favorite meal The bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and very comfortable. The decore in the house is very welcoming. It is clear that Barbara thought of everything to make sure your trip is perfect. My 19 month old son LOVED the lookout windows from the 4th floor office. our negative experience at the first house led us to the perfect host. Barbara, thank you for a wonderful vacation stay. we are sad to be home. It Snowing.

This house is amazing! It is beautiful inside and out. It truly has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen, great exercise room, pool table and ping pong table in great condition, beach towels and equipment, kayaks, etc. It's very close to the beach. The white sand beach is beautiful and the view overlooking the sound is breathtaking.

Our family just completed a two-week stay at Barbara's house. It was all that we had hoped for and even more. The home is more beautiful than the pictures and ideally located in our favorite section of Wrightsville. The back porch seating area is to die for and the sound view is breathtaking. The home has all sorts of beach , water, and biking equipment, so all you need is a bathing suit! We are already planning our return!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was as advertised and in very nice condition. It was well equipped with all we needed. The home also has a full gym, bicycles, and beach equipment. The views are spectacular and the location is perfect, at the quieter end of Wrightsville, yet still close enough to restaurants and entertainment venues. Barbara was easy to communicate with and responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend the home.
