This castle cottage was exactly what we were looking for in Scotland. We wanted a home base where we could take day trips from and only 30 minute drive to the train. It was a very cozy place and easy to cook meals in the kitchen! Rose was very responsive and helpful with any questions.

The cottage is spacious, cosy and full of character. We settled in quickly and found everything had been prepared for our arrival. We really enjoyed exploring the area- there were lots of great walks nearby. We also took the train from Rannoch to Mallaig which had stunning views. We’d love to return to the area and to this cottage. Rose was quick to respond to our messages.

Fantastic spot right on the river with the sound of rushing water Deer and rabbits and red squirrels around the house It was very cost and warm despite it getting to negative 17 one night. Had snow falling which we loved being from Australia Bird feeder outside kitchen was cool and we did archery with Jerry which was great fun Would love to come back
