很接近大自然，房东热情好客，给我们做了披萨和意大利面，后面是个湖可以钓鱼，漫天星星没有光污染，唯一不方便的是没有网。

We had a wonderful stay! Michael and Victoria are excellent hosts--kind, helpful and friendly. They provided background information for the area, recommended good hiking trails and places to explore. We felt right at home and were very comfortable. We all slept well, had everything we needed to make meals, and everything was super clean. The entire area is quiet and peaceful, a wonderful escape for those who enjoy nature, wildflowers, geology, and hiking. We hiked up Caribou Creek trail to just past the cabin where we found a spot with a phenomenal view for lunch. We didn't get a chance to do the Skookum Volcano Trail, so we're planning to return stay next summer to continue exploring the area.

We had such an amazing and memorable stay with Michael and Victoria (and their awesome children), and we only wished it was for longer. They were not only responsive and helpful on very short notice but went above and beyond to think of every detail. We had a long day of driving and knowing that, they offered us a home cooked Alaskan meal (which was amazing!) and lemon bars for dessert. These items were delivered to our cabin by two amazing little humans who were also very helpful guides and gave us suggestions for where to hike around in our short time there. Later, we had a blast talking to Michael and Victoria about life in the middle of this beautiful national park over a few beverages in the lodge. Beautiful is an understatement, as even the drive out to the spot is unforgettable. The cabin was immaculate and so well prepared for us. We will absolutely be back and look forward to checking in again with the dream team running the place!
