Absolutely gorgeous setting. The picture of the Yurt don't do it justice. The view and surroundings of the deck and stunning and peaceful. The interior of the Yurt is very large, lots of space, clean and comfortable with a large dining table. The Yurt is very light, I have stayed in others that have been quite dark, but the windows let the light in and it's splendid. There are some paths behind the property which make for a nice walk. Only 30 minutes to the car park for Mount Arthur. Great place to stay.

It is a very nice place in a beautiful location. For 100$ cleaning fee I would’ve expected it to be cleaner but that was alright. What we didn’t understand was why they didn’t say on airbnb what sort of place this is. We clearly enjoyed our stay and they didn’t lie about anything, it would’ve been good to know though that this is an eco friendly super sustainable place. So they ask you to use special shampoo (I use medical shampoo and would’ve appreciated to know beforehand). When we wanted to use the oven we had to drive all the way back into town to buy a lighter which we needed to light up the gas operated oven (only found a lighter in a different building the next day, not in the kitchen though) Moreover, it’s so far upon a mountain that some cars won’t do it. There’s just some things I would’ve liked to know before arriving. We clearly can recommend it to people who don’t mind these things and just seek some peace and silence in nature. Happy overall!

Our yurt stay over Easter was a wonderful peaceful stay. The yurt is about a 3 min walk from carpark on undulating gravel, but very accessible. It feels ridiculously peaceful and private there, like a retreat! A bit cold at night time, but the extra blankets and fireplace helped.
