We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Chelsea’s home in Foresthill. We wanted a place close to the Forest House Lodge where our granddaughter was married on the weekend we stayed in Chelsea’s home. This rental was perfect for us! Easy access to the wedding venue-approximately 7 minutes driving time. Everything in Chelsea’s home is lovely - all the decorations, the furniture, the view. And, of course, the whole place was neat and very clean. The extra touch of microwave, refrigerator and Nespresso machine made our stay so easy. Chelsea and her husband were gracious hosts to us. Their doggies are cute and friendly. So…….if you ever have the opportunity to stay with Chelsea while visiting Foresthill, please do not hesitate. If we have another wedding to attend in Foresthill, we will be sure to contact Chelsea.

Such a lovely repeat stay at this little Gem hidden away in Foresthill. Just so convenience, so clean and so easy to check in, stay and enjoy. I will be back again and again!! Value for money and such great hospitality!

Felt very welcome. Greeted by Casey and the two cute dogs JoJo and Maggy, and the next day, when we came back to Chelsey and Casey's home from an all-day hike, we were greeted by smiling Chelsey. Any concerns were addressed or explained fairly promptly by Casey or Chelsey who were both very gracious hosts without hovering or making us feel that we had to stand and talk, when all we really wanted was a hot shower and a bed after climbing some pretty steep slopes all day. Now, as for location, it could not be more perfect... just a short stroll of about 2 or 3 blocks and bingo you are at the main market in Foresthill called Warton's which is quite a nice short walk for food, snack, coffee, etc. As for central to hiking trails, an easy drive to go hiking. As for cool location history, you bet, Casey explained to us that their 12+ acres is part of the old San Francisco hydraulic gold mine, in fact the old, huge sluice box is just down inside their steep canyon just below the backyard.

I stayed a couple of nights with my partner for a wedding in town at Chelsea's place and was pretty satisfied with my stay! We stayed in the llama room and it had everything we needed in terms of kitchenware for a short stay, since we didn't plan on cooking and were mainly just using a fridge/freezer and microwave. The room is cozy and had a huge bed! The bathroom had a nice big space that made getting ready for the wedding a lot easier. The place also wasn't hard to find, since Apple Maps took me there quite faithfully. The woods around the area was beautiful as well, and the air quality was super nice! Overall, a good pick for us!
