The sunrise view of the Manyara Lake and valley below was spectacular as were the many birds around the camp. We found this place while driving but booking was difficult as the agent was in Portugal and the map was off about 15 km. The restaurant was not really very accommodating, E.G. coffee was in a different building and milk was powdered. Upon checkout the Manager wanted us to pay again not realizing the money to AirBnB gets sent after the reservation starts. Finally with the AirBnB Help it was understood. However when we used the app we had been searching with 2 adults listed but somehow it got changed to one when we reserved. We were asked before check-in and I confirmed it was two. One week after we were contacted with a request to pay the double rate for the second person. Again AirBnB sided with us but it was an unfortunate mis-communication from both sides.

Los precios para lo que ofrecen son excesivos. Las fotos no son igual que la realidad, los colchones son malos e incómodos, la taza del baño estaba sucia. Considera que no hay nada cerca de este lugar, tendrás que comer si o si en el lodge y no puedes elegir (precaución vegetarianos). Nosotras reservamos tour y transporte con ellos y todo el tiempo te dan precios mayores a los que corresponden. Sin embargo la vista es hermosa, pero definitivamente no recomiendo este lugar.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The view from the rooms is breath taking. The team there led by Irene could not do enough for us. The family room is spacious with a double bed and 2 single beds. The food on offer at the restaurant was good too. Highly recommended. And for bird watchers, there are some cool species to see.
