- Just 20 minutes walk from the house, nature lovers can explore the wetland habitat that is considered to be an important breeding, feeding and wintering ground for more than 186 bird species many of which are protected.
- Potamos beach is also a unique worth seeing location. Its most impressive point is the wreckage from a ship that sunk fourty (40) years ago, whose smoke stacks are still visible and it is known as the shipwreck. It’s a great opportunity to explore underwater while snorkeling this intact shipwreck. Potamos beach is 10 minutes by car from the house.
- Also, there are many well organized beach bars at Potamos beach to relax during your holidays. On the beach, the ideal place to spend your day, you may have your coffee, fresh juice, refreshing cold drink or food.
- A good glass of local wine isn’t hard to find when you are in Epanomi, just 10 minutes by car from Domus Maris house. On the slopes of Epanomi, a meticulously-tended vineyard surrounds the modern winery, where the renowned Ktima Gerovassiliou wines are produced. Ktima Gerovassiliou is open to all oenophiles and anyone wishing to get to know the world of wine and viticulture. Visits comprise a short walk around the vineyard, a tour in the wine-production, bottling and ageing areas, and the Wine Museum. You can taste the estate's wines in the special wine-tasting rooms, while enjoying a spectacular view to the estate's vineyard.

Also, there is a mini market, a playground, the port and the bus station .The village of Epanomi, only 5 minutes away from the house by car or public transportation, you can find what you need. There are local street markets with fresh vegetables, fruits, meat and fish - bakeries, super markets, patisseries and pharmacy.
