Beautiful secluded farm. Exactly what we were looking for. Kids loved the pool and the tranquil surroundings. Highly recommend for a quiet peaceful stay. Peter and Rosemary were extremely friendly and welcomed us with a bottle of their own olive oil. Close to Marvao castle and Castelo de vide.

Peter & Rosemary’s place was absolutely perfect. We were 10 in total - 6 adults, 1 teenager, 1 toddler, 1 baby and 1 dog 🐶 We were super cosy and really got into the countryside mood pretty quickly. The fireplace was just lovely, and the common areas were ideal for what we were looking for. The surroundings are absolutely amazing - Serra de São Mamede is a magical place and we even got to meet Avelã - a neighbouring horse 🐴 Peter was fantastic and took care of our every need. Can’t wait to return!

We have spent a wonderful time with friends (2 families, 8 pax), inter alia due to the lovely hosts. Lot's of space and things to do within and around the house. Beautiful views to Marvão castle and the surroundings. A breath-taking silence, that is only disturbed by singing birds and the eventual horse or dogs visit when Peter stops by on his walks through the countryside. He was so nice to demonstrate his sheep dogs in action with the herd - a great experience end-to-end!

From the moment we arrived at Peter and Rosemary's Airbnb, we were enchanted. Nestled amidst nature, the location offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Every morning, we were greeted by the soothing sounds of birds chirping and the gentle rustle of leaves. The property itself is immaculately maintained, with all the amenities one could hope for. Peter and Rosemary are gracious hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay all the more memorable. Peter and Rosemary were great, they treated us more like friends visiting then guests and were very responsive with suggestions for activities and they had our kids participate in herding the sheep which was a huge highlight for them. The house was nice and peaceful and the area is beautiful. It was a great few days staying there.
