Doña Laura's charming oasis is a rare find! It's a magical place to rest and restore. All of the staff are kind and accommodating. The breakfasts are fresh, healthy, and a real delight. We would recommend this spot to anyone!

The meaning of La Casa Del Encamtado is house of Enchantment. It’s supremely well named. The artfulness of what you might call boho chic decor is delightful! and it contributes to this aura of calm, whimsy and maybe slight mystery. Our room was large, airy and likewise full of fancy and charm. I sometimes wished I could sit in a chair all day overlooking the tile roofs, reading a trashy mystery I’d borrowed from the small library the bnb has created. I. Could have done this of course but it was much nicer always to amble over to the beach and enjoy the sand, sea, and very decent fare you can buy at one of the many restaurants. This is a real bnb! That is you get breakfasts which are extensive, and fabulous. And Laura is a super host — we enjoyed chatting over coffee when time allowed. And she was helped arrange our visit to a very pretty spot, Las Gatas, so that the trip there was seamless. And her recommendations for where to eat — perfect. Truly a special place

Laura's spot feels like a little bohemian jungle oasis. Always good tunes playing in the courtyard, with a very laid back vibe. The room and beds were comfortable, and I loved having a hammock to lounge in. WiFi works great - there were a couple of people working remotely. Laura has also been a contributing member of the local community for over 20 years, so she's quite knowledgable on all the happenings around town. I would not hesitate to stay again...and hopefully will soon!

El alojamiento de Laura es muy tranquilo, relajante y sencillo. Siempre tiene música de muy buen gusto. Los desayunos son muy bastos y ricos, y la atención muy buena y personal. Está a unos 35 minutos de Zihuatanejo, lo cual es muy conveniente para conocer y disfrutar de otras playas, y está a 3 cuadras de el acceso a la playa de Barra de Potosí, donde para mi sorpresa el mar es de un oleaje que te permite estar ahí adentro seguro. La casa de Laura tiene varias fuentes, vegetación y todas las noches encienden velas lo que crea un ambiente muy agradable y fresco. Me hubiera encantado que tuviera alberca, aunque sea pequeña, sólo eso le falta. Le faltan algunos mosquiteros en mejor estado, pero las camas tienen pabellones que te permiten dormir súper bien y cómodos; en la habitación había un pequeño refri muy útil. Hay ventiladores que son de gran ayuda para contrarrestar el calor. El lugar es rústico pero tiene su encanto y te ofrecen limpieza a diario si lo requieres. Gracias Laura.
