Upon arrival, footpaths messy, appearance externally poor, needs maintenance, lawns not mowed, back deck needs replacing, rotten timbers, (splinters in feet) railing to downstairs, wobbly and not safe, in need of external painting, should be fire alarms all bedrooms, sign on dis-washer said not working; received a text message on arrival to put the garbage out! No tissues ($1) a box in reject shops; no shampoo/conditioner (these are all basics in 98% of Air BnB), no milk/butter/bread or a complimentary bottle of wine. You usually are provided with these as a token, but there was nothing. In one of the bathrooms, no mirror and no hand basin. The main bathroom - the lid would not stay up (for males). It is the location that holds this property. There were a lot of personal photos in the rooms. Either the owners could not be bothered to maintain this property or they could not be bothered. As owners of Air BnB properties, the standard was poor.
Had a wonderful time. Extremely convenient location by the river, cafe nearby and short walk to our nearby family members. The house itself was perfect for our family of four, had everything we needed, and our hosts were extremely friendly, proactive and helpful. Loved it and hope to return.
The accomodation was beautiful which I booked through air b n b . I ignored emails i had received earlier in the week, from holiday specialist , instructions and the registration as i thought they were scan emails. Upon arrival I had to complete a registration form which was difficult on my phone. I also had difficulty accessing the locked keybox to access key. I could not open the villa and it delayed my entry for quite sometime.
This house is lovely, bright and comfortable with a fabulous view over the estuary. There were games, heaps of books and a really well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommended!
This was one of the best Airbnb residents that we have ever stayed at. The location is fabulous and breath taking. There are three rooms with everything you need for your holiday. highly recommend for a family or travelling couples. Easy key pick up and drop off system. Outside heated shower from when you step out of the lake. You wont regret it. we will be renting this house again
