A tastefully renovated stable, adjacent to our other holiday let, Dovecote Cottage, in the rural village of Cosheston. The open plan living/dining area features exposed stone walls, vaulted ceiling & a woodburner. The mezzanine bedroom sleeps 2 in twin beds, (note steep stairs, limited headroom). Fully fitted modern kitchen & stylish shower room. Wi-Fi throughout. Private garden & patio seating. Just 8 miles from Tenby, 3 miles from Pembroke Dock & the Irish Ferry. Well behaved dogs welcome. The Stable sleeps 2 in two single beds in the traditional, mezzanine 'Crog Loft' style bedroom which is accessed by a bespoke wooden staircase. (Please note: The stairs are narrow, and headroom is limited in the Crog Loft and therefore the space is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or for young children.) The living/dining and kitchen area is open plan with a cosy woodburner for the winter months. (A starter pack of logs, kindling and fire lighters is provided in the winter). Externally, there is a sheltered South facing seating area, which is a real sun trap, as well as a lawned area. If you need more space for additional family members or friends consider booking Dovecote Cottage & Stable together.

This is without a doubt the most beautiful of places to stay in Cosheston! The cottage is adorable and there has been attention given to every detail. It has equally stunning pastoral views! Sue is friendly and replies without delay. We were here to explore our ancestral roots and it was the perfect home base. The cherry on top is the excellent pub directly next door with delicious food and Wednesday trivia night. The whole experience start to finish has been faultless. I would highly recommend it!
We had an amazing stay at The Stable. A lot of thought has gone into its design and it’s a lovely place to relax in - all open plan with interesting features and a log burner. The views are unbeatable and it is very quiet - you would never know there is a pub next door - which is definitely worth visiting for the food. But book weeks ahead! It is very quiet and peaceful there and sitting in the garden with those views is the perfect place to unwind after hiking around the Pembrokeshire coast. The Stable is ideally located to use a a base to explore the surrounding coastline and countryside. We will definitely be back!
A charming stay with unbelievable views! Everything you might need for your stay, sue has thought of everything. A bonus that it is right next door to a nice little pub with a delicious roast!
Just came back from the best stay at dovecote stable. This place is beautiful, the photo’s don’t do it justice. Sue’s communication was great and the stable was clean and tidy when we arrived. There were cakes left for us when we checked in, which was a lovely touch. The garden space and the views are amazing and the pub next door is definitely worth booking for food. In the perfect location for visiting Tenby, Pembroke ect. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you so much.

Cosheston is a picturesque rural village with a lovely village pub and many great walks from the doorstep of the cottage. The best beaches of South Pembrokeshire are just a 10min drive away.
The Stable at Dovecote Cottage is just minutes off the A477 trunk road that links South Pembrokeshire to the A48 and M4.
It is approx. 60 miles (1 hour) west of Swansea; 125 miles from the Severn Crossing, and just 3 miles from Pembroke Dock and the Irish Ferry.
The nearest train station is Pembroke Dock.
There is no bus service to the village so a car is really essential.

I am happily retired, and live in a beautiful old Grade II listed Pembrokeshire cottage. I love exploring the UK and beyond. I am Pembrokeshire born and bred, & although I have lived out of the county for many years I am now delighted to call it home again, and look forward to sharing my knowledge with our guests. Besides travelling I love pottering in my cottage garden and greenhouse, reading, visiting the local theatre and walking with my dog.
