喜欢住在左京。可能因为在这边遇到的房东都特别特别好。Jun先生气质好好，人也很亲切。房子里面的设施都好棒，住起来超级自在舒服。下次如果到京都还会想要选择Jun先生的房子。

This is a very special family and place. This is how airbnb is supposed to be, and we feel fortunate to find such bnbs in many regions. Super walkable part of the city, two short blocks from The Philosopher's Path. About a four minute walk to Ginkakuji, six minutes to trailhead of path up Daimonji. Easy to get around the city with four bus choices at the big intersection-- 3 minute walk. Make sure to have Icoca or other IC card to make buses easy. The bathroom is a wonderful fusion of East and West. Closet space is good. Excellent wifi. Mattress was two firm to me. We really like rolling shutters, like they have on the big patio doors. There is a good bakery up near the big intersection, near Cira's Pizzeria. Opens at 7. Otherwise, breakfast in Kyoto is a washout. Peaceful neighborhood. We highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jun’s. It was very cleaned and cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The location is so nice and quiet, being able to walk the Philosophers path every morning and afternoon, filled with cute cafes. We took the bus to go to downtown Kyoto for more aliveness and restaurants, about 30 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

Jun's place is totally a hidden gem and we loved our stay so much at his place. Everything's perfect, and it's located right beside one of the best attractions in kyoto. The only consideration is it's a bit far from the center (more than 30min by bus). But we surely will book here again if we visit Kyoto.

One of our best AirBNB stays ever! Super comfortable, fantastic location at one end of Philosopher's Path which leads to numerous temples and shrines, quiet, peaceful neighborhood out of city hustle and bustle yet with easy access to trains and busses to go all around. Jun was helpful and kind in every way. Mattress was great, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had all that we needed. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay in Jun's vacation home as our base while in Kyoto.
