Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille dans cette maison. La maison est charmante, et la vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons bien profité des espaces extérieurs. A savoir par contre que la maison est relativement éloignée de la route et des villages à visiter (40-75 minutes de route des villages d’intérêt) mais pour des vacances plus sédentaires, c’est un petit paradis. De plus, notre hôte Mauro a été tout simplement charmant - nous avons apprécié la communication rapide et la flexibilité dans l’heure d’arrivée et de départ.

Il Casale i Torchi è un'oasi di pace e tranquillità nel mezzo della Garfagnana. La struttura è perfetta per trascorrere dei giorni lontano dal caos e dai rumori, ma anche in posizione strategica per effettuare visite molto interessanti. La piscina è un plus eccezionale, ma anche il fitness Trail è stato una sorpresa bellissima. Menzione finale per il BBQ posizionato sotto il porticato all'ingresso di casa...davvero funzionale e perfetto per gli amanti del genere 😁. Vacanza davvero stupenda!!!

We loved our stay here! It was absolutely stunning. My toddler was so impressed that he literally gasped when we walked into the house. The views and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos show. With a baby and a toddler we stayed close to home quite a bit and there's lots to do. We loved frolicking the trails that come right off the property, wandering the fruit groves, picking cherries, strawberries and herbs growing on the grounds. We swam every day. The water was cool but so refreshing. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple times. Mauro was so friendly in making sure all our needs were met. We asked for two cribs for our kids and they were set up upon arrival and there was a high chair too, very convenient. Cons - it is a 5 minute drive on a dirt road off the main road and the roads to get there are quite curvy. It wasn't a scary drive at all, but unfortunately my toddler developed car sickness for the first time on the mountain roads and it made it very difficult to leave and explore the area. Something to be aware of if you're prone to car sickness. Also being that you're in nature watch out for the normal critters - we all got ticks on us after frolicking in the long grass on the trails so be sure to check every day.

We had a great time at this wonderful place. The beautiful houses are located really remote which allows you to relax and enjoy the amazing countryside and nature. Highly recommended with a very friendly host. We will be back for sure.
