Thank you (and Daphne and Violet) for hosting us at Planetrees. What a lush oasis you have. We planned our annual family weekend away around staying in this gorgeous property. We thoroughly enjoyed roaming the stunning gardens, sitting outdoors and cosying up in front of the fire at night. We loved visits from the Dachshunds, and all the space to wander. The linens and towels felt luxurious, as did the beautiful soaps and washes in the bathrooms. Genevieve was a responsive and friendly host. Unfortunately our son fell ill and we had to leave the rest of our family at Planetrees after one night, but we hope to come back soon! Thank you 💛

Planetrees estate is an absolutely beautiful location with spectacular garden and natural pond/pool. Our family loved our time there. Very relaxing, comfortable and the gardens were wonderful both for adults and children. The house is beautiful and unique, being initially a log and daub build. The house is very delightful and great for families and large groups. The Stanley Pub is a great local and Beechworth is a very short drive away.

We stayed in the lodge for 4 nights and had a mix of weather, one quite cold day, and it was glorious in the sunny and cosy by the fire. Gourmet cooking in the charming kitchen and daily visits from voilet and daphne, gorgeous inquisitive dogs. It really was stupendous, and omg, the silence in the bedrooms, i slept like a log. Heaven.

Our host was in contact shortly after we booked with information about the area , local recommendations for restaurants , wineries and other activities. We arrived on a very cold day to a warm house and welcoming fire. The kitchen had lots of pans, utensils, appliances including coffee machine , wine glasses etc. , breakfast provisions included fresh local eggs, delicious jams and cereal, the lounge area was comfortable for 8 adults to relax, the garden was welcoming to wander through and would be spectacular in spring, summer and autumn . Beechworth is very close and lovely for a morning wander. The beds were super comfortable . We would all happily stay again.
