This was a planned birthday trip for my girlfriend and I, when we arrived we noticed that the cabin was very private and had a walking path close by. Upon getting inside we noticed a very pungent smell in the below area of the cabin within the bedroom but couldn’t figure out what it was. The bathroom is updated and was very nice, as well as the simplistic vibes of the rest of the cabin. While making food we did notice that the dish ware was not all that cleanly and had to wash all of the utensils, plates, glasses, etc. that were used. We appreciated that Mark allows animals at the Cabin as we brought my girlfriends dog along with and she appreciated the walking path by the house and was able to explore the surrounding area. Overall decent stay.

Semi secluded & the state forest is right out the front door.

Absolutely adorable cabin in an amazing spot. We got to walk right out the front door and immediately be in the forest. It reminded me of the homey cabins we used to rent as kids for long family weekends, with lots of unique knick-knacks and woodsy charm.

We had a good 2-day stay in March. I feel the cabin and the location would have really shined through in the summer and fall but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The cabin was clean with good amenities and ambience.

It was a nice stay for the family. Really enjoyed the VCR player and Kane was a quaint town. The cabin is right on a private road which is not obvious by the photos.
