We loved Saints Haven. literally next to the state park...so quiet. We had everything we needed. itIt was wonderful to have a few cold waters and a fresh banana bread when we arrived.
Very spacious, clean and peaceful location. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. All the furnishings were very retro to the 70’s and 80’s, but very accommodating and provides what you need. The calmness of the location was great, where you could just sit outside and enjoy the serenity. A few negatives - GPS from the Airbnb site did not take us to the location but the owner guided us by phone. Also, there was just one small TV in the entire unit and not in the bedroom if that is important. Lastly, the overall feeling in the location was tolerant but not friendly or accepting of same sex relationships. My husband I looked forward to the hospitality that several people wrote about but it never materialized. No banana nut bread, friendly visits or conversations like many of the other guests wrote about. I wrote to the host prior to our visit how my husband and I looked forward to our visit and the tone quickly became sterile. Take under advisement if that matters to you.
It’s a great place. Would loved to have cook a little more but other than that it was exactly what I was looking for. Patsy is a wonderful host.
She was a great hostess! Homemade Banana nut bread waiting on the table when we got there. Beds and sofas comfortable. A part on the toilet broke and she had it fixed in record time. We left for a couple hours and it was fixed by the time we returned. Beautiful surroundings!!! Private and quiet.

Friendly, upbeat, Christian woman who enjoys people and life. I moved from the N. GA mountains (which I dearly love) where from time to time I assisted my adult kids with running their Hiker Hostel and Ultra marathon foot races. I now enjoy being back to the area I grew up in and I am relearning Liberty County with all the outdoor activities i.e. wildflowers, ravines, hiking trails as well as the Apalachicola River and all it has to offer...fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc. I am very family oriented, love my church family, love volunteering with organizations in which I believe are helping, people and this Great Earth we are made stewards of. As an Airbnb host I try to make my guest as comfortable as possible. I will provide as much or as little interaction as you desire. My life motto is "Whatsoever thy hand finds to do, do it with all your might.".
