Had such a great couple of days at the Clockhouse. The location was excellent and we loved stepping out of the house immediately into a dog walk, it was such a treat. The local woods are gorgeous and the garden space was lovely. Bed was comfy and there were some great touches, including kitchen basics, biscuits, extra blanket for the bed. Shower was great. Would definitely recommend for a unique place to stay.

We Cannot rate this place highly enough . A beautiful place to stay ! Such a cosy cottage and beautifully presented . Caroline is a fantastic host and responded immediately when we couldn’t work out how to switch the shower on ! The switch is to the right of the TV . We cannot wait to come back ! We wish we had booked for longer .

We had a fantastic stay at the Clockhouse. It's a beautiful, quiet, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped cottage in a large estate. The surroundings are quiet and lush. There are some well marked trails by the river, that runs close to the cottage, that mode for some lovely morning walks to the nearby towns. Caroline was always quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
