Extremely convenient to downtown and campus. Had our group of company project managers and techs stay while doing work on campus. All was great. Duncan was helpful and accommodating to our needs. Thank you for a great stay.

It is a wonderful, historic house in a great location with loads of potential. The bedrooms are comfortable with good quality mattresses and bedding. Everything is very clean and tidy. But overall the house is sparsely furnished. The gathering areas do not have enough seating for the number of people that house can accommodate. The listing photos do not reflect the current furnishings. As an example, one room is almost completely empty, with just a large rug and a small desk against a wall. Also, there is air conditioning in the home, but it is limited to the second floor and attic area. It was very hot while we were there and the main floor was very warm (almost 80 degrees). The ceiling fans helped in the rooms that had them. A few other issues that we experienced we some broken glass on the front walkway and yard and there is an carpenter ant problem in the kitchen (there is an ant trap on the backsplash but it’s not doing the job). Duncan was a great and responsive host, he came over and closed the vents in the attic to try to cool the house off and he swept up the glass. His communication throughout our booking and stay was very good.

Great location! In front of museums and a couple of blocks from Downtown. The house is very spacious and clean, has ample of parking spots. Great for big groups. Check in and check out was extremely easy.

Great place to stay ! It was clean , the host was amazing and if I come back to Virginia this is where I will be staying
