My purpose for this stay was to get a few days of peace and quiet, restful sleep. All my expectations were met. Annie, the hostess, was very warm and friendly. Easy to communicate with and accommodating to all my needs. The house itself is in a very quiet, secluded section of the neighborhood, but not to far from the main thoroughfare. The bedroom I stayed in had a Big, Comfy, mattress which allowed me to get all the sleep I needed, as the other guests were relatively quiet as well. If you're looking for a place that is private, peaceful and quiet, I would highly recommend. A very good deal for the value!

I canceled my 1 month stay here after 1 week because I was not happy. It's not a ideal for a night shift worker. I should've stuck to my gut feeling. The room is on the other side of the kitchen where the microwave slams a lot. And one day it sounded like someone was scraping ice and dumping it into the sink, maybe. I feel my sleeping was just ignored. You can close the microwave without slamming it. And the freezer, I assume, could have been cleaned later in the day. One day there was a strange man in the home without the host being there. I was not comfortable with that. It could be up to 5 people staying in the home at a time. The kitchen is not cleaned on a daily basis. And there's food left in pots and pans on the stove nightly. Honestly I don't think any of the noise and food being left was caused by the guests of the home. On a good note there is a separate refrigerator and bathroom for guests, both were adequate. The room itself was great. A lot of space, natural lighting and a big closet with shelving. I wish Annie the best but personally I wouldn't stay here again.

Great host! I had such a wonderful time here and I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to live either short-term or long-term.
