The host was nice don't get me wrong, but the place has a lot of issues. You can't control the temperature so if you want the heat on or off you're relying on whoever is renting the house upstairs. Whatever they set it to or you have to message the host to see if you can get it turned on or changed. you can never control the temperature in there. The furnace was off completely for 3 days and we had no heat and it was freezing. They tell you to use the fireplace for additional heat. But it's a gas fireplace and it really doesn't warm up the place. We were there for 2 months and the place still smelled like cat urine, the entire stay from the people before us. It's not even a permanent wall that separates your room from the other hallway that the people upstairs used to come down into the laundry room. So you hear a lot of noise Especially if they come into the laundry room in the middle of the night. If the people upstairs leave a dog Out back for a long period of time you can't go out

The room itself is not bad. However it’s not sound proof. During my stay ppl upstairs made huge noises every night. Their dogs were out of control, barking like crazy and they came back late, after 11:30 every time, then had another drunk party, rowdy until 2:00. They let the dogs go out to do their business, and they pooped right in front my doorstep. I stepped on them in the night!!
