We only wished we could have stayed longer and that it was later in the spring so we could have had our breakfast in the beautiful mosaic space. Very friendly, helpful, immediately responsive hosts.

I absolutely love this Airbnb and I love the hosts!!!! Not sure which I like better - 😂. The Airbnb is very comfortable, the beds are great! You have everything you need in the kitchen with a big family room and dining room. The bedrooms are large and very quiet. This is my go to place when I’m in Amherst! Highly recommend!!

First off- Don in particular is a charming host. He is a great communicator and responsive. The space was clean and stocked with banana bread, butter, milk, orange juice and coffee. The kitchen, and space is very comfortable. The space is a basement and you need to go down a set of very steep stairs to get into the space. Or you can circumnavigate the back yard which with suitcases is not easy and there are still a few steps. I was there with my teenage daughter and the instructions weren’t immediately obvious but all the doors were open. Which felt weird a bit since the house is a bit remote. All ok so far but the clincher for us was that the toilet kept backing up. Not from the top, from behind and beneath. This happened in the morning of our second day and the morning of our departure. This is a two bedroom unit which advertises as sleeping 6 but I can’t imagine six people sharing the one tiny bathroom, and the plumbing system already seems strained by the basement toilet.

I absolutely LOVE this place and the owners. It is a beautiful home in a great location (very close to UMass). Don and Karen are wonderful! I get homemade bread each time I visit :-). It is very roomy, private and has everything you need for a quick weekend or a long week. The owners are so responsive and I'm so grateful every time they share their beautiful home with us. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about Don and Karen and their beautiful Airbnb. They are the nicest owners that I have ever dealt with!!! They stocked the fridge with new milk, juices and homemade bread - I have never had anyone do that before - it is like we are members of their family. The Airbnb is very comfortable and clean. The only thing that I added to my usual "Airbnb kit" is a mirror for getting ready - (there is a small mirror in the bathroom, but I like a bigger one when I do my hair :-)). Other than that, it's like being at home. Finally, the proximity to UMass is fantastic for attending the Men's Lacrosse games (and Don and Karen are fans, which makes it even more fun!). If you are in the area, this is a must visit place!

My wife Karen (Speech & Language Pathologist) and I love to travel, cook, play music and garden. We live in a historic one hundred year old year old colonial home that we moved from Amherst (see pics) We love to travel and to share our interests and home through AirBNB. Our home features a large furnished 2 bedroom walkout garden apartment. The apartment has two separate accesses. Access to the "mango" bedroom is through an amazing shard mosaic greenhouse from gardens on the edge of (Website hidden by Airbnb) amazing sanctuary for a variety of birds and other wildlife. The other entrance is directly off the driveway through a mudroom/laundry. The house is a mile as the crow flies from UMASS and two miles to Amherst College in Amherst Center. Hampshire College is just another mile and a half from the center. Our Vieques property has similar two-bedroom features in Isabella Segunda, the larger of the two small towns on that tropical paradise. The Hadley property is six miles away from downtown Northampton and Smith College across the scenic Connecticut River surrounded by the Seven Sisters mountain range. The area has become western New England's destination for arts, culture and entertainment. The Paradise City Arts & Crafts Festival, Green River Music Fest and Morgan Horse Shows supplement nearby country fairs and harvest festivals. Vieques has the mountains and turquoise beaches on an island that time has forgotten. Our place on the island is only a few blocks from glass beach and five miles from the village of Esperanza. If you like isolation, solitude and wild (Website hidden by Airbnb) sure to visit the link to Colorful, Convenient in the Carib! Now back to to the "Happy Valley"..... Southern Vermont ski areas are less than an hour away. We're two hours from Boston, three from New York and four from Montreal and Quebec. At times the whole (five bedroom-3.5 baths) may be available during college graduation weekends. Vieques, off the coast of the east end of Puerto Rico, can be reached by a ferry that lands a few blocks from Casita Linda or by one of four small airlines i.e. Cape Air or Vieques Airlink.
