Stay in one of our Tipi tents in a quiet, starting food forest close to the Westerschelde and the cities Middelburg and Vlissingen. The tent is built on a wooden platform. There is one double bed. We provide a mattress cover for the bed, but please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. You can use the outdoor kitchen with gas stove, coffee and tea facilities, cups, plates, pots and pans, fridge/freezer and fire place with grill. We are creating a 3 hectare food forest and in this forest there are about 20 camp spots. There are fruittrees, berries and herbs around your tent and there is a big vegetable garden. We make fresh healthy breakfast dishes daily that you can order one day in advance. We respect nature and we hope so do you. We try to keep our carbon footprint small. There won't be electricity in your tent (so bring your own (solar)lamp) but you will be able to charge your phone or device. There is also a fridge/freezer at the shared outdoor kitchen area. We filter our waste water, so bring your own ecological soap or use ours. We try to become a zero waste campsite, so please try to limit your waste when you visit us.

Mooie en rustgevende plek, Middelburg en Vlissingen makkelijk te bereiken. Verder was Marieke erg vriendelijk.
Der Aufenthalt bei Marieke hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Der Blick aus dem Zelt war super schön und ruhig. Das Gelände wurde super schön hergerichtet und es gab viel zu entdecken. Morgens konnten wir uns ein frischgebackenes Brot abholen und Abends bei einer Yoga Stunde teilnehmen. Die offene Küche lud zum kochen ein und zum quatschen mit anderen Besucher*innen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in einer der ausgestatteten Tipis verbracht, was campen mit sehr hohen Komfort war. Wir könnten uns aber auch vorstellen mit unserem eigenen Zelt beim nächsten Mal wieder zu kommen und einen der tollen Stellplätze zu nutzen. Wer einen Trip ins Grüne will und ein bisschen Ruhe ist hier genau richtig! Es ist so schön, dass man kaum vom Gelände weg will, trotz der Meernähe :))
Dieser Ort ist einfach ein absolutes Paradies und Marieke eine so wundervolle Gastgeberin. Ich war nun schon zum zweiten Mal in Mariekes Wäldchen und werde so gerne immer wieder kommen ❤️ Umgeben von Natur wird man hier jeden Tag freundlich begrüßt von Kätzchen, fröhlich schnatternden Gänsen, freudig quikenden Schweinen und einer wundervollen Gemeinschaft von anderen Campern . Eine absolute Wohlfphloase in der es einem an nichts fehlt ❤️❤️❤️

Close to the city, but far away enough to experience paradise. You will stay in a food forest in the middle of the farmers fields. So when you arrive, look for trees and the sign 'OEST Farm & Stay'.
We are 5km from the cities Middelburg and Vlissingen and there is no public transport to our place. If you don't have a car, you can take the train or bus to Middelburg and rent a bicycle there. Or walk!

I love yoga, nature, pure food and discovering different cultures. In my job as a yoga teacher and farmer I can combine these things. Nature is all around us and we try to live and work according to the permaculture principles and are developing a edible forest on our farmland. We host volunteers form all over the world who work, learn and share experiences with us.
