The studio is spacious and comfortable with a balcony over looking the grounds. But the grounds are what made the stay - sited on a lake with large areas of lawn and forest paths to walk with the dog it was like staying in a mini park. The hosts were super helpful and communicative even though they themselves were traveling.

My wife and I just returned from a very relaxing three days at Avante's loft apartment. The property was a wonderfully secluded ranch on Tuscawilla Lake. The guest house and loft are beautifully situated among large oak and cypress trees and surrounding wildlife. We rented the studio loft, and were thrilled with it from the start. The unit was clean, uncluttered, and nicely appointed. The kitchen had just enough features that allowed us to make breakfast and lunch. The bathroom was large and open, with a big free standing tub and shower. Also, the bed was comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the property while we planned our upcoming day or reflecting on what we had done earlier. As a bonus, the owner advised that the big guest house was not rented during our stay, which meant we had the entire area including the swimming pool to ourselves. Given the opportunity, we would certainly return for a stay on this property when we return to the area.

We rented the house and studio for a large family gathering. The host was always responsive and very helpful. The house is old and a bit hodge podge, but easily accommodated all of us. The family commented that it looked nicer on the photos. The feedback on the beds was mixed, the one I slept in was sagging. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could easily feed a large crowd. The yard is big with plenty of room for young and old to roam. The early risers enjoyed gorgeous sunrises down by the lake and we had 2 alligator sightings. We also spotted deer, rabbits and a raccoon. The firepit is tucked away and not ideal for small children. It was stacked with garden debris which went up in a blaze once lit. We did witness a Starlink launch at Cape Canaveral in the distance, which was unexpected and cool. I recommend spending an afternoon exploring the little shops in downtown Micanopy, and looking around the local history. The property is a great, down to earth spot and I recommend it.

We used the guest house along with the main house for a large family gathering. It's such a lovely property, surrounded by nature. We found everything we needed and our hosts were very accommodating and responsive to our requests.
