Ashish's place is indeed as per the description. The best part was Tiwari Aunty who hosted me and my brother like her son. they ensured to check with us what breakfast we needed in the morning and prepared it as per our dietary restrictions. thank you Ashish for delicious Upma and Chikki. the room is as described, the location is under green and serene and nearby there are nice eating options as well. do give it a try, especially if you have a flight to catch from Indore.

I had at first reserved this space for four weeks. It was a neat private room with its own separate entrance to outside and with an attached private full bathroom. Another lockable door led to the rest of the single-story house. It has one window with an insect screen and tinted panes. A big good mosquito net is available to put over the bed. There is a large air cooler for the house which was kept in the room. A television with remotes was there in the guest room with cable channels, which I of course had no use for. They had a JioFi device in the hall providing a good signal throughout the house. My Jio cellular connection was always excellent there. The Bhawrasla area is relatively less built up and has cleaner air. The house is in a relatively new locality with mostly empty plots. Guards man a checkpost at the main entrance. There is a extensive band of garden area maybe several hundred meters in length running through the middle of the development. Some shops and a “Luv Kush Supermarket” and State Bank of India branch are nearby along the main road along which the large nearby hospital is located. Buses ply that thoroughfare north and south, towards the center of Indore and north away towards Ujjain. The power supply there was remarkably more reliable than other places in India like Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc. I was told that many technology companies have already or will soon be setting up facilities nearby. Many buses travel along the nearby main road and take pilgrims the few dozen kilometers to directly reach Ujjain and the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. Ashish’s mother cooked various tasty and fragrant dishes, including dals, upma, poha, daal bhaati, methi paratha, chapati, paalak paneer, etc. On request she prepared sprouted moong, soaked peanuts, fetched fruits, vegetables, and other available simple things I had requested to have from the shops. She was always very attentive to my concerns and needs and did a great job adapting to them. Also she helped with keeping the floor clean in the room. I was told that the house was finished only some months—I think around six—ago, and so the fitting out of the house was still a work in progress, with new things being installed and other such tweaks. Stairs at the front of the house lead to a terrace area on the roof where I could sit and relax and study and do work. They had a front-loading washing machine that I was free to use at any time. Ashish, his brother Manish, and their parents Ramkishore and Lalita were always warm and friendly, willing to help. They were very eager to make my stay as comfortable and problem-free as possible and made it clear that I can always let them know of any issues in an honest manner. They were a proper vegetarian Hindu Brahmin family which kept clean health-conscious habits in terms of diet, lifestyle, etc. Highly recommended.
