The place was just as we hoped. Peaceful, away from all the rush and noise of city life. Candace was very responsive throughout the booking process. She answered all our questions. We had a chance to meet her in person too. She was lovely. My family, kids, parents, everybody liked her. We had a small issue while staying there and she promptly addressed that. The cabin was very spacious, clean, well stocked and with lots of games for kids. Also the lawn at the back along with the lake was a major hit with the kids. They were outside most of the time whenever the weather is good. Going to the lake following the trail which starts just by the side of the lawn was a small adventure for them. We had a good time there. We would surely like to visit again in summer.

Cozy Christmas Cabin! A perfect rustic cabin for our family Christmas. It was very comfortable for our family of six and a baby. Candace is so easy to work with and super responsive. The cabin is filled with such unique decor and I'm sure every piece has a story. We had the wood burning stove going all the time. Stocked with everything you could possibly need. We were travelling home for Christmas and Candace was so kind to add holiday greens that she lit, to give us the feels of Christmas. The place was very clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. Next time we stay, will be in the summer and use the lake and kayaks. It has a beautiful deck. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Check in and out was so easy. Very positive experience from start to finish.

The serene cabin was cozy. The welcome basket was perfect for our late checkin and the bottle of wine was superb. The lake and the woods were very lovely and private. Everything imaginable was provided by Candace; from concierge info on where to go and what to do to; to the exact location of the extra garbage bags and paper towels; to returning the size twelve shoes left behind without charge. Candace is truly a Superhost

We had a heartwarming trip in Candace‘s home. The lake nearby is beautiful, the kajaks worked well and we had a lot of fun. The house is charming, you feel at home the moment you enter. I would totally recommend the house for some cozy time in NY, especially in fall!

The cabin is so lovely and such a relaxing space. Definitely worth a stay. Candace is a great host and the place is a total gem.
