We had a decent stay at Carens. Although Caren was not in Port Barton, she was great with communication and our check in went smoothly. She was very nice throughout the entire stay. What can be improved: The room was very bare with only a bed and a rotating ceiling fan. The room was very hot. The WiFi didn’t work for the majority of the time during our stay (to be expected in Port Barton). The water ran out one night and we had to walk back to town to get more for the night and was not refilled for us the last day on the stay. Kittens came in and out of the apartment as they pleased. Usually wouldn’t be an issue but my girlfriend is allergic to cats and would have been nice to see this in the description before booking. The good: Location - Directly next to the bus terminal and only a 2 minute walk to town. Communication - Caren was great at communicating before and after the stay. Overall I would not stay here again for the price we paid but I believe with minor improvements this place could be worth it.

Waren hier notgedrungen nur eine Nacht da sonst nichts mehr frei war. Die Unterkunft war nicht einfach zu finden. Vor Ort trafen wir eine Frau die uns dem Zimmer zuwies. Sie schien nett zu sein. Das Zimmer war ok. Das gemeinschafts Bad war nicht gut. Immer nass, ekelhafte fliegen waren immer da. Der Preis war maßlos überzogen! Hier gibt es sicher besseres!

The house is very close to the bus terminal which makes it easier to find (located behind terminal, take a right on the road beside it and walk towards the hills) and also a short walk to the beach as described. The rooms are clean and very simple which is all you really need. The fan was really enough - it only got a bit uncomfortable after a storm came through and drove up the humidity levels. The WiFi was very good (better than most places in Port Barton). Was lucky to not experience any blackouts while there.
