This is a heavenly place, hidden away from noise and bustle but walkable to all parts of the city. Very comfortable with generous breakfast provision made. Lots of living space and beautiful light coming in to room from two sides. The little balcony was a real bonus.

We had the most fabulous stay at Mel and Henri's wonderful Airbnb. It is in a great location, 10 minutes from Centraal Station and within easy walking distance of all the museums, shops, restaurants etc. and yet is very quiet and peaceful and right by the Singel canal. Just perfect. Haus Roomolen itself is wonderfully designed and furnished, absolutely spotlessly clean and with all services and amenities provided. You want for nothing. Mel and Henri even provide provisions for breakfast. We could easily have stayed for much longer and do hope we can return for another wonderful few days in Amsterdam. Thank you so much to Henri and Mel for a terrific stay.

Great Hosts with a beautiful place to stay. Our stay was nothing short of amazing! We were welcomed into a great home by wonderful people that did nothing but their best to be helpful and kind to us. Great knowledge of the local area with any recommendations you could require. There was tons to do within walking distance and if needed a large train station very close by that’ll take you to any destination. The home is in a very safe area that's quiet, making for a pleasant stay. Can’t thank you enough for making our trip great!

Henri and Mel were wonderful hosts and their place was perfectly located and appointed for everything we needed. They provided a lovely assortment of food and drinks to get us through the first breakfast and beyond. They were extremely responsive to our questions, always pleasant, and provided good recommendations for local restaurants. We felt very welcome and would recommend them to others.

Henri and Mel’s place is absolutely ideal, perfect location with a patio/garden that makes you feel like you are in your own little oasis, quiet neighbourhood and beautiful surroundings, what more could you ask for! The hosts were incredibly polite, friendly, super quick response times and provided lots of useful information about the area and just overall wonderful people! They provided everything you could want or need for your stay in Amsterdam, with the little extra touches (sorry I don’t get to utilise all of them but really appreciated that you provided them). I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return to Amsterdam in the future.
