I never used my debit card. And when I arrived on the island, my card was blocked and I couldn't withdraw money from the ATM. Mata offered to lend me $50 for food until I could exchange my money for the local currency and pay her back the money I borrowed. Mata and her family were also super kind, keeping me informed about events in the city and providing tips since I arrived. The place is well located, it is very close to everything and you can do everything on foot in Muri. It's quite impressive what they managed to do to turn a small space into something really cozy. I really appreciate all the care and tips. I've enjoyed my stay! Thank you Mata! You are the best.. I will come back!

This could have been a good little bach to stay in, the location was close to Muri beach, the host was friendly but it was not at all clean, The dish rack was filthy and the tea towels stained. All the surfaces and doors were grubby. The shelf was thick with dust as was the wardrobe which had some type of small animal faeces. There was rubbish and belongings from previous guests under the bed and it obviously hadn't been cleaned. One night the neighbours got drunk and argued loudly. There were no mosquito nets as shown. Very disappointing

Absolutely beautiful place, we loved the air con, so close to muri town which is filled with things to do. Off the road in a private house, the neighbors were also so nice. Easy to catch the bus anywhere in the island and a beautiful beach. We loved the little geckos who came to visit. Good space for 3 people, in the middle of farmland.
