Really charming house, beautifully decorated with interesting artwork and everything you could need. Very well equipped kitchen. 2 minutes walk to the oldest part of Rye and many lovely things to see and do nearby. Dominique was super helpful and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat that need advance booking. The big car park on the same road is very convenient. Would happily stay again!

Absolutely thrilled with our stay. Very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Lovely location and very well equipped property with a lovely little garden. Dominique was very helpful and flexible about check in and check out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Sylvester’s Place. The cottage is really delightful with a very peaceful vibe from the moment you enter. Tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean, we immediately felt at home. We very much appreciated the clean, well stocked kitchen and pantry & the delicious Prosecco & crisps kindly provided on arrival. A great, central location-few minutes on foot to all the fantastic shops & restaurants that Rye has to offer & a 10 minute drive to the gorgeous beaches of Camber, Winchelsea & Nature Reserve. Parking is right opposite & VERY reasonable. It was an added bonus at the end of the day to return & take advantage of the evening sunshine in the pretty, secluded garden. Dominique is a wonderful host. Easy, fast communication, relaxed & VERY flexible. She met us on arrival to ensure a seamless check-in & gave us some great recommendations for lovely places to explore and eat. Cannot recommend highly enough-thank you so much.
